Project Bucephalus Robotics is a Wollongong-based group that has many years of experience running robotics activities for children in the Illawarra, Shoalhaven, and Sydney area since 2011.
The Project Bucephalus robotics program is suitable for both Primary and High-School age children, and uses LEGO® MINDSTORMS® technology
to provide an introduction to robotics! We offer an exciting program that builds interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) in unique
ways as students learn how to design, build, and program their own robots. Project Bucephalus team members will pass on their skills in teamwork, lateral
thinking, and having FUN!
Classes run after-school and in school holidays in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven. CLICK HERE to find out more.
Term 2, 2020 Classes
COVID-19 Note: During the COVID-19 restrictions, Project Bucephalus will run weekly "Robotics Online" classes in place of the original after-school Robo Clubs. For Term 2, students will register for three weeks of classes at a time. (This will allow us to move to normal classes once restrictions lift!).
The Robo Club curriculum contains lessons and games designed to develop robotics, engineering, and programming skills. Catering to both beginner and advanced
students, activities are mixed between single-week challenges and multi-week projects. The occasional competition is thrown in for good measure (Robot
Sumo is a favourite!).
Spaces are limited, and enrolment is essential. ENROL TODAY - CLICK HERE!
