PhysioHealth’s ‘Strong Kids’ is a 10 week research and evidence-based program both designed and delivered by our Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists who have a strong focus and passion for the benefits of resistance training for children.
The tailored strengthening sessions focus on improving muscle tone, neuromuscular control, strength and power, whilst assisting in the prevention of injury
of children aged between 6 and 16. Our team members are qualified Level 1 Strength and Conditioning coaches in accordance with the Australian Strength

The program runs in accordance with school terms and focuses on the benefits of resistance training in children aged 6 to 16 years. Watch the video below!
The 45 minutes sessions are run by two instructors with a maximum of 10 children per class (Currently classes run Monday and Tuesday afternoon, but we
respond to demand each term)
Separate classes for age groups with tailored exercises, challenges, and education.
Week 1 is 'Assessment Week' with structured examination of strength, balance, endurance, and overall fitness. These objectives are measured again in the final week of the term for qualitative comparisons.

We are very proud of our 'Strong Kids' program and the changes that we continue to see every term! Training in motor patterns, coordination and neuromuscular control can make changes to technique in order to prevent injury and make some great positive changes for the future.
