Welcome to KISS Arts Fest 2019 – an annual seaside celebration of the spectacular, the silly and the sublime!
We source the biggest and best acts and performers in the world and bring them to Kiama!
2019's line up is arguably the biggest to date. So much to see, do and experience - there is something for everyone!
The KISS Arts Festival is a seaside celebration of the spectacular, where the fringes of Kiama’s Black Beach are transformed into a vibrant playground of international acts, local talent, unique experiences and pure entertainment.
There are major new events this year!
And, that’s just the start...there will be contortionists, acrobatic archers, bubble shows, circus starts, gypsies, rockabilly, true love, ghost tours, market stalls, Raft Race and comedy.
Thanks to the support of Festivals Australia, KISS will bring together four visual artists to collaborate on a project which represents the five Japanese elements - Earth, Fire, Water, Wind and Void.
Fire – A parade of Lanterns made both during the Festival and before; Wind - Represented by a hillside filled with handmade
pinwheels, decorated and personalised by attendees; Earth - 1000 cranes will be created across the festival weekend and hung in the
large trees on site. The cranes represent peace and good luck; Water - Paper Mache Cows to be decorated will stand on the volcanic
black sand, with the ocean lapping their ankles representing the gift of water; and these 4 elements come together in the 5th element – Void.
The Void is the creative energy of interactive arts, of people coming together to laugh, play and create, in the spirit of Kiama and all that it was,
is and can be. The void creates possibility.
Come and be part of the FUN these School Holidays from April 26 - 28!
