Ah Illawarra skateparks - we are blessed with these FREE parks that can challenge and inspire our kids and teens - let them be free from screens, whilst developing and enhancing balance and motor skills!

Whether you bring the kids' bike, scooter or skateboard, from pre-schoolers to teen gatherings, here are our HOTTEST SKATEPARKS in the Illawarra:

Fairy Meadow: Guest Park, 2 Cambridge Ave, Fairy Meadow 2519

A great choice for all ages, it's a decent size, high ramps, concrete courses, ample green fields to kick a ball in after, plus a bonus remote controlled car track is next door! Note - the park is often busy and highly popular with teens and younger kids will need close supervision :)

Berkeley - Holborn Park Skatepark, Berkeley NSW 2506

Super fun skate park! Lake views to boot... A good bank section, ledges and rails - a more gentle intro for younger skates too.

Unanderra Skatepark, Central Rd, Unanderra NSW 2526

A more basic, gentle bowl choice, better for beginners and younger bike / scooter riders...

Shellharbour Skatepark, Pioneer Park, Addison St, Shellharbour NSW 2529

Having undergone a recent impressive upgrade, this spacious, enclosed concrete bowl with sweet street course and interesting tight quarter, is a huge hit with small and big kids alike!

3Sixty Indoor Skatepark, Lot 3/2 Drummond Street, Wollongong NSW 2500

AND - Our final recommendation is not free BUT it is amazing! The awesome indoor 3Sixty Skatepark has been a huge hit since it debuted not so long ago! With a 4 ft mini halfpipe with spine, 2 street sections, 8ft roll in to quarter, resi and 6m air bag there is something for everyone at any age and no matter what level!
